“South Africans will miss the Madiba, magic but may the legacy of Nelson Mandela live on.” 

Moretele Community Corner and Municipality Watchdog, mourns the death of former president Nelson Mandela. 95-year-old Nelson Mandela, the former president of South Africa, passed away on 5 December 2013 after months of illness. The Nobel Peace Prize laureate became the first black president of South Africa in 1994.

 

He is survived by his wife, Graça Machel, and three daughters, Pumla Makaziwe Mandela, Zenani Mandela-Dlamini and Pumla Makaziwe Mandela. We xtends deepest condolences to family, friends, fellow South Africans and the world for the passing of former South African president, Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela.
